For 5 - 16 year olds interested in fun cycling sessions with a competitive twist!
The club is affiliated to British Cycling (registration number 470618) and our sessions led by British Cycling coaches.

Unfortunately we don't have enough coaches to accommodate the varying abilities of children that were regularly coming to our Thursday evening sessions. So the club is not operating at the moment.

Charity Ride

Chesterfield Cycle Campaign’s previous vice chair Nigel Vernon’s son Ben died recently and he is organising a charity ride in his memory on Sunday June 16th.

There will be two routes both starting at the bandstand in the Queen’s Park, the longer ride is 15 miles around the Trans Pennine Trail loop via Tapton, Brimington Common, Inkersall and Staveley. The shorter route is 5 miles out to Tapton Lock and back to the Queen’s Park.

Both rides are suitable for families (children must be accompanied by an adult). Families can enter by making a donation on the Just Giving website:

There is also a Facebook page:

Future of Our Club

To continue our club sessions in our usual format we need four coaches every week. Unfortunately due to other commitments we can’t guarantee more than one so we have taken the decision to not run club sessions for the foreseeable future.

Bolsover & District Cycling Club run weekly ‘Go-Ride’ sessions on a Friday evening at Oxcroft Miners Welfare and we are sure they will welcome any new riders. Find them on Facebook @BolsoverGoRide

Autumn Sessions

I’m afraid we are going to have to postpone starting our Brampton Bicycle Club autumn sessions.

We can’t guarantee enough coaches for each session because one is in hospital, one has a family bereavement, one has other sports commitments and the other two can’t be there every week.

Please look out for further posts for when we can start again.

Sorry.
